6 DETENIDOS YIHADISMO Las Cuerpos y Fuerzas de Seguridad del Estado han detenido, a 31 de diciembre de 2024, a un total de 1.261 “presuntos yihadistas” desde los atentados del 11 de marzo de 2004 en los trenes de Madrid. De ellos, 1.116 en España, en 448 opera- ciones policiales en prevención del te- rrorismo yihadista, y 145 en otros países, fruto de otras 59 operaciones. ACTUALIDAD Si 2023 se cerró con un total de 43 ope- raciones en España y 78 detenidos, a las que se sumaron 6 operaciones en el exterior y 13 detenidos más, los 81 dete- nidos en España por yihadismo en 2024 vuelven a marcar récord desde el 11-M por segundo año consecutivo, destacan- do Cataluña por concentrar 3 de cada 10 arrestos. Entre el total de detenidos den- tro de nuestras fronteras, 25 lo fueron en Cataluña.
