The second episode, “The role of women in jihadism” , features Carola García-Cal- vo, a senior researcher at the Elcano Royal Institute and lecturer at Rey Juan Carlos University. The expert analyses the process of female radicalisation and women’s growing involvement in jihadist structures. The series continues with “Jihadism: radicalisation among minors and in prisons” , featuring Álvaro Vicente, a researcher at the Elcano Royal Institute, who examines how young people and prisoners become vulnerable groups for recruitment and violent radicalisation. In “Radicalisation online: new trends in the jihadist threat” , Manuel Torres Soriano, a lecturer at Pablo de Olavide University, examines the role of the digital environment in jihadist prop- aganda and recruitment, as well as the recent evolution of these dynamics. The fifth episode, “The Jihadist Threat in Catalonia” , features Lluis Paradell, an inspector and head of the Central Analysis and Intelligence Unit of the Mossos d’Esquadra, who outlines the specific characteristics and evolution of this threat within Catalonia. Africa and the Sahel” , featuring Colonel Jesús Díez Alcalde, an expert on the jihadist phenomenon in Africa, who analyses the expansion of these organisations in the Sahel region and their relevance to inter- national and Spanish security.
