61 On 3, 4 and 5 October, APAVT held a Family Respite and Fellowship Day for victims of terrorism and their families at the Hotel Rural Spa & Wellness Ha- cienda Los Robles, located in the Ma- drid town of Navacerrada. The meeting, which brought together members from different parts of Spain, aimed to promote the physical and emotional well-being of victims, as well as to strengthen the bonds of unity and mutual support among those who share a history marked by terrorist violence. During the weekend, participants were able to enjoy the facilities of the spa, which included a thermal circuit and personalised massage sessions, as well On 20 November, the Association for the Support of Victims of Terrorism, together with the AVT, held the 11th Conference on Terrorism in the Basque Country in San Sebastián, under the slogan "Pain has no statute of limitations: victims, memory and prison policy". For APAVT, this meet- ing is an essential forum for continuing to support victims, vindicate their dignity and ensure that their stories remain at the centre of social and institutional debate. The event, held in the Hall of Degrees of the Faculty of Law of the University of the Basque Country, was opened by the Basque Government's Minister of Justice and Human Rights, María Jesús San José; the president of the AVT, Maite Araluce; and the president of the APA-VT, Mónica Muñoz, who opened the day with a min- ute's silence in memory of all victims of terrorism. DAY OF COEXISTENCE AND WELL-BEING IN NAVACERRADA as participating in group activities and workshops in contact with nature, such as the ecological trail and the coexist- ence dynamics organised by the Asso- ciation's technical team. The programme also set aside time for rest, reflection and con- versation among the participants, who par- ticularly valued the op- portunity to share ex- periences in a calm and trusting environment. APAVT emphasises that initiatives of this kind are essential for improving the quality of life and emo- tional health of victims of terrorism and their families, promoting spaces for meeting and mutual support outside their everyday environment. APAVT HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPORTANCE OF REMEMBERING AND DEFENDING VICTIMS AT THE 11TH CONFERENCE ON TERRORISM HELD IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY During her speech, Muñoz emphasised APAVT's ongoing commitment to re- membrance and reparation, recalling that "remembering is not an exercise in the past, but an act of responsibility" and that, therefore, APAVT will contin- ue to work alongside AVT to promote spaces for reflection that raise aware- ness of the demands and needs of those who have suffered terrorist atrocities.
