Also attending the meeting were the presi- dent of the Victims of Terrorism Founda- tion, Juan Francisco Benito; the Director General of Support for Victims of Terrorism at the Ministry of the Interior, Montserrat Torija; the director of the Memorial Centre for Victims of Terrorism Foundation, Flo- rencio Domínguez; and representatives of associations and foundations from across Spain, as well as commanders from the state security forces and local, regional and natio- nal government authorities. During the event, the Andalusian Civil Guard, Andalusian Regional Government councillors Antonio Sanz and José Anto- nio Nieto, the director of the Memorial Centre for Victims of Terrorism, Florencio Domínguez, and Dionisio Bolívar, from the Conrada Muñoz Foundation. Likewi- se, the Board of Directors of the AAVT paid an emotional tribute to Joaquín Vi- dal, founder and president of the associa- tion and one of the most prominent voices of Spanish victims for three decades. The programme included a visit to Seville Cathedral and the historic city centre, a detailed tour of the Reales Alcázares de Sevilla with specialist guides, and a warm meeting with His Excellency the Most Reverend Mr. José Ángel Saiz Meneses, Archbishop of Seville, who conversed in a very familiar and friendly manner with the participants.
