VITEPAZ ATTENDS THE SENATE CONFERENCE "FOR A PRISON POLICY THAT RESPECTS THE JUSTICE AND DIGNITY OF VICTIMS" The president of VITEPAZ, Alfonso Sánchez, attended a conference held in the Senate on April 28 focused on analyzing prison policy and its impact on the justice, dignity, and rights of vic- tims of terrorism. During the conference, held in the Jimé- nez Abad Room, participants addressed issues related to unresolved attacks and the need to guarantee victims' right to the truth. They also highlighted the im- portance of ensuring that public prison policies contribute to clarifying the facts and recognizing those who have suffered terrorist violence. In the panel session, victims of terro- rism and experts from the legal and as- sociative fields analyzed current cha- llenges in the fight against impunity and the need to strengthen mechanisms that make progress possible in solving pending cases.
