53 VITEPAZ ASSOCIATION VITEPAZ attends the tribute ON THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ATTACK ON JUAN BRAVO STREET IN MADRID O n April 25, with the president of VITEPAZ in attendance, the Community of Madrid paid tri- bute to the victims of the attack perpe- trated by the terrorist group ETA at the intersection of Juan Bravo and Principe de Vergara streets in the capital, on the occasion of its 40th anniversary. During the ceremony, a bouquet of white flowers was placed at the site where the car bomb exploded, killing five Guardia Civil offi- cers and injuring eleven people, specifi- cally four members of the Guardia Civil and seven civilians. "All Spaniards maintain a permanent debt of memory, justice, and dignity to the victims of terrorism, a debt that is not erased by the passage of time or by silence.
