56 ASSOCIATION OF VICTIMS OF TERRORISM OF CASTILLA Y LEON A fter its premiere in Valladolid, the documentary Memoria revelada (Memory Revealed), produced by the Association of Victims of Terrorism of Castilla y León and directed by journalist Pedro Lechuga Mallo, has continued its tour across Spain, with later screenings in León, Valencia de Don Juan, Vitoria, and Bilbao. Memory Revealed focuses on the impor- tance of photojournalism in leaving gra- phic testimony of the terror and pain cau- sed by terrorism, forming a visual archive that serves as historical evidence and helps society not to forget the victims. In the documentary, photojournalist Fidel Raso, based in Uruena and a long-ti- me chronicler of the violence caused by ETA in the Basque Country, meets two victims whose attacks he photographed. Several victims from Castilla y León also take part, including two people injured in the 1986 attack on a Guardia Civil bus in Plaza de la República Dominicana in Madrid, in which twelve people were murdered. The documentary also gives voice to three journalism students from the Uni- versity of Valladolid, who offer their views on terrorism and on the role played by photojournalists tasked with photogra- phing its consequences. THIRD CONSECUTIVE TERM FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ASSOCIATION OF VICTIMS OF TERRORISM OF CASTILLA Y LEON The assembly of the Association of Vic- tims of Terrorism of Castilla y León (Avt- CyL) unanimously decided once again to place its trust in the members of the pre- vious Board of Directors, who now begin their third consecutive term. Sebastián Nogales will remain president, while Fernando Parrado will serve as vice president and treasurer. Fernando Man- zanas will serve as secretary, and Victoria Azcue and María del Carmen will hold board member positions. In this new term, the members of the Board of Directors will continue suppor- ting the lines of work already underway, which in recent years have given the asso- ciation strong visibility through activities such as the "Testimonies in the Class- room" project, the Colmena Award, and its regional conferences, now in their third edition. They will also continue to demand that public institutions address the needs still faced by victims in Castilla y León, and to develop all kinds of actions aimed at ensuring that society does not forget victims of terrorism and that the narrati- ve of what happened is not manipulated.
