6 NEWS ASSISTANCE GRANTS Support for victims of terrorism is not governed by calendars or accounting balances. It is a continuous, quiet, and profoundly human task renewed each year with the same goal: to remain clo- se to those who need it most. The assis- tance work carried out by the Victims of Terrorism Foundation (FVT) during fiscal year 2025 is part of that commit- ment, a period in which direct support for victims and their families once again stood as one of the priority pillars of its institutional activity. A STRENGTHENED BUDGET FOR A FIRM COMMITMENT The Ministry of the Interior, the ministry to which the Victims of Terrorism Foun- dation is attached, authorized the award of assistance grants for 2025 charged to the budget approved by the Board of Trustees, the Foundation's highest governing body. Particularly noteworthy is that the budget allocated to these grants rose in 2025 to 220,000 euros, representing a 10% in- crease over previous years. This increase, included in the Action Plan approved by the Board of Trustees in June 2024, clearly reflects the strengthening of the Founda- tion's commitment to comprehensive care for victims of terrorism and their families. 144 beneficiaries 520 grants awarded 214.946 euros
