18 of "granting subsidies to associations, foun- dations, entities and non-profit institutions whose main purpose is to represent and de- fend the interests of victims of terrorism". For its part, the Government of La Rioja, under the 2025 call for proposals regulated by Resolution 12/2025 of 26 February of the Regional Ministry of Health and Social Policies, allocated € 10,058.82 to the FVT, in line with the amounts granted in pre- vious years, this time to cover the costs of activities to prevent radicalisation. Along the same lines, in 2025 the Regional Ministry of the Presidency of the Regional Government of Castile and León approved a new direct subsidy to the FVT for € 17,000 , earmarked for the organisation of two exhi- bitions in the region on the 20th anniver- ANOTHER YEAR, NAVARRE AND EXTREMADURA WITH THE VICTIMS On 17 June, the Regional Government of Navarra, through its Directorate-General of Memory and Coexistence, reaffirmed its commitment to the FVT by signing a collaboration agreement for € 15,000 , aimed at improving care for victims of te- rrorism and promoting social awareness programmes, especially those aimed at the younger generations. This agreement is part of the collabora- tion that began in 2021, aimed at promo- ting actions such as the creation of a sys- tem of assistance grants, the organisation of the autumn course at the Public Uni- versity of Navarra —which in 2025 was entitled "Repen- tant terrorists. Social, Political, Legal and Ethi- cal Challenges"— and the seminar on terrorism and the media at the Faculty of Com- munication of the University of Navarra, which held its fourth edition under the title "Telling the Terror. Territo- ries of Memory." These initiatives consolidate spa- ces for reflection and dissemina- tion to preserve the memory of victims and prevent radicalism. Within the framework of Law 4/2017, of 26 September, on Recognition and Care for Victims of Terrorism in Castile and León, the Regional Government considers it a priority to support entities and institutions whose purpose is to assist and improve the situation of victims, promoting initiatives that contribute to their comprehensive care and well-being. CANTABRIA AND THE REGION OF MURCIA, NEW SUPPORT In July 2025, the Government of Can- tabria, through the Regional Ministry of the Presidency, Justice, Security and Administrative Simplification, awarded the FVT a nominal grant of € 12,000 to promote activities aimed at dignifying vic- tims and educating against terrorism, fos- tering values of democratic coexistence. Notable among these activities are the exhibition "The 11 March Attacks: Me- mories of Pain and Solidarity," which opened in Santander on 17 December, and the training programme "Educating for Coexistence," aimed at secondary school teachers and taught by the Carlos III Uni- versity of Madrid in collaboration with the Cantabrian Teacher Training Centre. For its part, the Region of Murcia suppor- ted the FVT through a non-nominative grant provided for in Law 3/2025 of 23 July on the General Budget, amounting to € 20,000, earmarked for the Social Awa- reness Activities project. This included the development and distribution of teaching materials for nursery and primary school children, aimed at transmitting values of tolerance, and training activities for se- condary school and sixth form teachers, encouraging reflection and commitment to democratic coexistence.
