Zaragoza has not forgotten, and on 30 January, it marked 39 years since the ETA attack in which Army Engineer Commander Manuel Rivera Sánchez and driver Ángel Ramos Saavedra were murdered. Furthermore, 44 people were injured that morning in Zaragoza when a car bomb exploded as a bus carrying stu- dents, teachers and staff from the Gener- al Military Academy passed by. Our representative in Aragón, Carlos Martín-Posadillo Franco, accompanied by his mother, Maribel Franco, son and widow of Colonel José María Martín-Po- sadillo, who was murdered in Madrid on 19 July 1989, represented VITEPAZ at this moving ceremony, where the mem- ory of the victims was honoured so that what happened with terrorismmay never be repeated. Our thanks to the institutions, local residents and victims who, year after year, ensure that the unforgettable is not forgotten. Always with the victims of terrorism. ` Our delegate Carlos Martín-Posadillo Franco with his mother, Maribel Franco and other victims of terrorism. ` Civil and military authorities present at the wreath-laying ceremony ` Our representatives with the Mayor of Zaragoza, Natalia Chueca, and the councillor for Victims of Terrorism, Ruth Bravo.
