50 RODOLFO BENITO SAMANIEGO FOUNDATION O n June 4, the Chapel of San Ilde- fonso at the University of Alcalá once again became a space of encounter, recognition, and emotion on the occasion of a new edition of "Take My Hand. Encounter for Coexistence," one of the most significant events in the annual calendar of the Rodolfo Benito Samanie- go Foundation. The tenth edition of this event brought together institutional representatives, members of victims of terrorism asso- ciations, collaborators, social entities, friends of the Foundation, and many people committed to the defense of de- mocratic values, memory, and human rights. Year after year, this encounter strengthens the ties built over more than two decades of work and makes it pos- sible to share the path traveled, express gratitude for support, and recognize exemplary careers. The beauty and solemnity of the historic chapel provided the perfect setting for an evening marked by closeness, affection, and music. The hall was filled by a diverse audience that wished to accompany the Foundation in an event that goes beyond the merely institutional to become a true celebration of coexistence. Among those attending were representatives of nume- rous victims of terrorism associations from across Spain. Participants included members of the 11-M Affected by Terro- rism Association and the Association of State Security Forces and Corps Victims of Terrorism, as well as representatives of victims' associations from La Rioja, the Valencian Community, Andalusia, Cata- lonia, Extremadura, and Castilla y León. Representatives of ZAITU and AROVI- TE, the Online Archive on Terrorist Vio- lence in Euskadi, were also present. The event also included the presence of two victims of the attack on the Hotel Corona de Aragon in Zaragoza, whose attendan- ce brought special meaning to the day. They were joined by numerous civil and academic authorities and representatives of the State Security Forces and Corps, who wished to show their support for the work carried out by the Rodolfo Benito Samaniego Foundation.
