51 celebration of the Foundation's 20th an- niversary, the 2025 edition represented an additional challenge: to maintain the high levels of activity and quality achie- ved. The Yearbook shows that the Foun- dation not only maintained that momen- tum but continued to grow, expanding its work and consolidating benchmark projects in the areas of memory, human rights, and social awareness. One of the most moving moments was the presentation of the "2026 Doves." These recognitions symbolize the Foun- dation's gratitude to people who, from di- fferent areas of responsibility and social commitment, have made outstan- ding contributions to the deve- lopment of its foundational aims. President Ana Isa- bel Hidalgo read the reasons agreed upon by the Board of Trustees. This year's dis- tinctions went to three peo- ple especially linked to the Foundation's recent tra- jectory. They were awar- ded to José Vicente Saz Perez, rector of the Uni- versity of Alcalá until only a few months ago, in recognition of his closeness and the cons- tant support that the university institu- tion has given the Foundation; to Rocio López González, former Commissioner for Assistance to Victims of Terrorism of the Community of Madrid, for her com- mitment to victims and closeness to the Foundation's work; and to José Manuel Buzon, professor and choreographer at the "Alicia Alonso" University Institute of Dance of Rey Juan Carlos University, whose artistic sensitivity and cooperation with the Foundation have helped enrich various cultural initiatives, including the beautiful 20th Anniversary Gala, of which he was artistic director. The three awardees received a replica of the sculp- ture "Dove," by artist Enrique Broglia. Visibly moved, they thanked the Founda- tion with words full of affection and re- cognition, highlighting the human value of an institution that has turned memory into a tool for coexistence and collective construction.
