FUNDACIÓN VÍCTIMAS DEL TERRORISMO 95 - ENGLISH
66 ANDALUSIAN ASSOCIATION OF VICTIMS OF TERRORISM Andalupaz, the soul of the AAVT in ma- gazine form, has now reached its 20th birthday. With the unstoppable passage of time, two decades have already pas- sed since the conception and prepara- tion of this communication project for social awareness on terrorism, officially presented at the 6th Conference of the Andalusian Association of Victims of Te- rrorism in 2006. Since then, the pages of Andalupaz — in its two annual issues — have hosted the testimony and memory not only of An- dalusian victims but also of representa- tives of the collective throughout Spain. Its pages have featured the signatures and knowledge of judges, lawyers, ex- perts from the State Security Forces and Corps, historians, researchers, journa- lists, and administrative representatives connected to the complex phenomenon of confronting terrorism. Although it has always had both print and digital editions, on this significant anniversary Andalupaz is moving ex- clusively to an interactive digital edi- tion and online distribution because of the high cost of paper, fuel, and other factors in the current context, without losing the journalistic rigor that cha- CELEBRATING ANDALUPAZ'S BIRTHDAY and preparing the 24th annual conference racterizes it. Any interested reader may receive it by email simply by sending their address to aavt@aavt.net. It may also be downloaded freely from the as- sociation's website. The AAVT wishes to publicly thank the Ministry of the Interior, the Regio- nal Government of Andalusia, and the Basque Government for their financial support. From the outset, they have subsidized this journalistic initiative by the association to project the voice and realities of victims and contribute to the challenge of socially delegitimi- zing te rrorism.
