8 NEWS EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EMPLOYMENT: INVESTING IN THE FUTURE Aware that personal autonomy and labor-market integration are essential factors for victims' recovery and digni- ty, the Foundation maintains a specific line of grants for studies and employ- ment training. These grants are intended to cover ex- penses arising from undergraduate uni- versity studies, higher-level vocational training programs, and training activi- ties leading to an official qualification. During fiscal year 2025, the total amount awarded in this area was 12,627.97 euros. A PERSON-CENTERED INTERVENTION MODEL A joint analysis of the grants awarded in 2025 shows that family assistance con- tinues to account for the largest volume of resources, reflecting the persistence of economic vulnerability among benefi- ciary families. Psychological grants rank second, highlighting the importance of medium- and long-term emotional and therapeutic support. Medical, educational, and grants linked to severe disability complete a compre- hensive intervention system capable of responding to diverse and changing needs. Taken together, this distribution reaffirms the commitment of the Victims of Terrorism Foundation to person-cen- tered care, adapted to the reality of each case and aimed at recovery, autonomy, and well-being. THE VALUE OF SOLIDARITY SU- PPORT The Foundation's assistance activity is financed through grants and donations, which make it possible to develop pro- grams of direct support for victims of terrorism and their families. In this context, the support of the Foundation's patrons is essential, as it provides a key contribution to the continuity and sustai- nability of this work. Thanks to this solidarity, the Victims of Terrorism Foundation can continue ful- filling its mission: standing beside those who suffered terrorist violence and hel- ping, through concrete action, to alleviate its consequences.
